SARASOTA, Fla. – SPF Screens & Awnings (formerly Sun Protection of Florida), a family-owned maker of retractable screens, awnings, and shades for residential and commercial properties, announced that the company would begin serving customers in the Miami area.

Beginning immediately, SPF will expand its motorized retractable awnings and screens product offerings to customers in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The company expects to open an East Coast location this summer, creating an estimated 8 new jobs in the process.

We’re a family-owned company with deep roots in Miami. By expanding our offerings to the greater Miami area, our goal is to bring more sunshade, privacy, and in-home comfortability to customers living in the area.
